Introduction

Le finanze sono a dir poco disastrose, e il grado di radicamento territoriale, malgrado l'impegno assiduo di molti compagni, non è ancora neanche minimamente quello che dovrebbe essere. Il Comune di Quartucciu conta circa 13000 abitanti, è quindi al di sotto dei 15000, nonostante questo, visto il rapidissimo incremento della popolazione osservato negli ultimi anni, è possibile che si arrivi a superare la soglia in breve tempo. Quartucciu si trova geograficamente tra due più grandi comuni, quali Quartu Sant'Elena e Selargius, ed è parte del vicinissimo hinterland di Cagliari, il capoluogo di Provincia. Come già sottolineato, il rapido incremento demografico di questo paese è dovuto per lo più alla costruzione di nuovi quartieri. Dunque, I nuovi abitanti sono più che altro non originari del paese, ma cittadini che si sono situati alla periferia di Cagliari, alla ricerca di prezzi più bassi per le case e per allontanarsi dall'ormai congestionato territorio cagliaritano. E' difatti da un paio d'anni che a Quartucciu si witnessing an increase in housing prices, which rose because of increased demand. Come di consueto soprattutto nell'ultimo decennio, si è assistito anche nella nostra zona ad una localizzazione di un Centro commerciale complessivo che comprende attività economiche di ogni tipo: dall'alimentare all'abbigliamento, dalla ristorazione all'intrattenimento, dalla cura estetica personale alla tecnologia. Un sito quindi che contiene in sè tutto ciò di cui può aver bisogno un comune cittadino. Ovviamente, questa localizzazione ha avuto molteplici conseguenze sia per I cittadini visti come singoli individui, sia per le imprese già presenti nel territorio, e quindi per il benessere generale del territorio. Mentre il singolo cittadino "guadagna" da questa "nuova" localizzazione in termini di risparmio, poichè compra in un ipermercato che pratica prezzi più bassi e giornalieri ribassi, poichè quando si reca in tale sito ha a disposizione una molteplicità ampia di servizi, e quindi "in un solo colpo" può soddisfare I suoi bisogni, dal punto di vista delle piccole attività economiche già esistenti, si assiste certainly a loss, as the score decreases (prefer to go to a nearby shopping center) and management costs are higher. A fianco all'aiuto concreto di noi compagni all'interno delle vertenze, c'è la necessità di avanzare critiche e proposte riguardanti le stesse vertenze sul piano istituzionale. Infine, per quanto riguarda la specificità interna del circolo, uno degli obiettivi più importanti e immediati è quello di allargare il tesseramento, ma soprattutto coinvolgere tutti I compagni e le compagne tesserate nell'attività. Ciò che contraddistingue I militanti del nostro Partito da quelli dalla maggior parte degli altri, è proprio l'impegno e la passione nel lavoro. Ed in questo momento di difficoltà, probabilmente si può ripristinare quella genuinità, quella passione e quell'unità che ha sempre portato I comunisti a lottare in ogni situazione, anche la più sfavorevole.
